And it's faxed!!!

I faxed my application to Ultraman Canada 2011. Yikes! I will not find out until February if I am even accepted, but I applied.....

I am really excited about the idea, but there is no doubt that I might have lost my mind just a little bit. Here are the details:
Ultraman Canada Championships

I had a nice conversation with my coach, and he is on board for it. I emailed the two people I know who have done, or are going to do the race, and I already got some great ideas and advice.

I am just going to keep on training for St. George, but training harder. If, in February, I find out that I do not get in, I will be better prepared for St. George. If I do get in, then I will begin preparations. And oh, man, there are a lot of things to prepare. This is a three day adventure more than it is a race. I will just keep my fingers crossed and train hard.

Today, I am going to ride for a while. Though it is so much easier to just go to the silver comet trail, I need to start forcing some hills onto my legs. I am going to go down to South Fulton to ride and hopefully get some good work in this morning!

The beginning.....kind of

I am not much of a writer, but I find that I spend so much time thinking about triathlon and training, that I need a place to put some of these thoughts--thus the blog.

I finished my first Ironman one month ago todayn in Louisville, Kentucky. I will post up my race report here later.

I am starting to feel good again, and planning for the next one in St. George, Utah. It is a challenging one, and will certainly be an adventure. In fact, that race is in 220 days! Wow! I have a lot of work to do between now and then!
